Sunscreen

Taking sunlight between 6-8:30 am is beneficial for us. It is the best source of vitamin D and balances our chakras and the fire element in our bodies. After 8:30, sunrays start becoming harsh and can cause a lot of damage to our skin. It is best to avoid the sun in the afternoon, but even if you have to step outside, keep these points in mind-

  • Do not forget to wear sunscreen. It is a must.
  • Sunscreen should have a minimum of 30-50 SPF.
  • Do not be lazy in re-applying sunscreen.
  • Ensure that you are applying it on your lips also.
  • Prefer gel-based sunscreen as it would make you less oily.
  • Do not forget to carry a hat or umbrella. Even though you are using sunscreen, nothing can beat physical protection.
  • Wear light coloured clothing that covers your body.
