Scalp scrub for deep cleansing

  • 1 tbsp gram flour
  • 1/4 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 tbsp coffee
  • 1/2 tbsp fuller earth

Mix gram flour, rice flour, coffee and fuller earth in a bowl. Apply this powder all over your dry scalp. Massage your scalp for 5-8 minutes after applying the dry mixture to your scalp. Then shampoo as usual.

Gram flour makes your hair follicles strong, which further improves hair growth. It cleanses the scalp gently and removes dandruff. It makes our hair look healthier and prevents hair loss. Fuller earth has cleansing and absorbent properties that remove extra oil from the scalp without making it too dry. Rice flour has amino acids that reverse the damage done to the hair. It exfoliates the scalp and makes our hair strong, shiny and frizz-free. Coffee stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss. It makes our hair long and strengthens the hair roots.

Ultimate hair growing secrets

Baking soda scalp scrub

  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • Shampoo
  • 2 drops of tea tree oil

Mix baking soda and shampoo. Add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil to it. Use this shampoo to massage your scalp and wash your hair. 

Baking soda removes the scalp buildup. It gently cleanses our hair and makes it look shiny and soft. This DIY scalp scrub is best for oily scalp. Tea tree oil removes dandruff from the scalp. It has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that promote a healthy scalp.

Scrub for hair growth

  • 1/2 tbsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp kalonji seeds
  • 1 tbsp rice flour

Firstly, grind fenugreek and kalonji seeds in a mixer. In a bowl, mix rice flour, fenugreek and kalonji powder. Apply this powder all over your dry scalp. Massage your scalp for 5-8 minutes after applying the dry mixture to your scalp. Then shampoo as usual.

Fenugreek seeds contain lecithin that prevents hair loss. It revives damaged hair, removes dandruff, adds shine and prevents premature greying of hair. Kalonji improves blood circulation and promotes rapid hair growth. It makes your hair even more beautiful! When these two are added with rice flour, it makes a fantabulous scalp scrub.

Nose contouring tricks

Gentle scalp scrub

  • 2 tbsp aloe vera gel
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • peppermint oil

Grind aloe vera gel in a mixer for a smoother consistency. Mix aloe vera gel and powdered sugar until you get a paste-like consistency. Add a few drops of peppermint oil to it. Massage this scrub on your dry scalp for 5-6 minutes before shampooing your hair.

For all those with a dry scalp, lemme tell you, this is the best DIY scalp scrub. Do not take granulated sugar.

Instead, take powdered sugar as it exfoliates the scalp without making it dry. Aloe vera calms down the itchy scalp, deeply cleanses our hair, strengthens and repairs the hair and promotes healthy growth. Peppermint oil is known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. It reverses the hair loss caused by improper blood flow to hair follicles. 

The best part is that it gives a cooling sensation that is much needed during summers. Right?

How to look beautiful in sleep

Scalp detoxifying scrub

  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/4 tbsp charcoal powder

In a bowl, mix rice flour with charcoal powder. Add enough water until you get a paste-like consistency. Massage your scalp using this scrub for 4-5 minutes after applying it to your hair. Then, of course, shampoo your hair.

Charcoal removes oil and buildup from the scalp. It exfoliates the scalp and detoxifies it. It, in turn, promotes healthy hair growth.

Scrub for dry hair

  • 2 tbsp ground coffee
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Take coffee in a bowl. To it, add coconut oil. Apply this mixture to your dry scalp by sectioning your hair. Massage your scalp for 5-8 minutes, and then shampoo your hair.

Ground coffee exfoliates the scalp and improves blood circulation, promoting healthy hair growth. Coconut oil repairs and moisturises the damaged hair and prevents dandruff. It penetrates the hair strands and reduces protein loss.
