Isn’t it fascinating how intelligent and sacred women bodies are! Since we were in our mother’s womb, everything she and our female ancestors went through, including our own journey of childhood neglect, abuse, rape, everything is in our womb. This stored energy manifests itself as fertility issues, menstrual cycle problems, fibroids, weight problems, toxic relationships and much more. Womb healing is the best alternative to clear this energy. 

What is womb healing?

Both men and women have a womb. But, women are blessed to have both- physical and energetic womb. Men only have an energetic womb. Womb healing is when we connect with our divine feminine roots, develop a relationship with our womb and clear it physically and energetically of all the toxic energies.

Why is it necessary to do womb healing?

Womb healing clears all the baggage of the past that can give rise to a lot of problems like:

  • Toxic and abusive relationships 
  • Fibroids and cysts
  • Severe period cramps 
  • Poor sex drive
  • Fertility issues 
  • Weight problems 
  • Feeling disconnected from your own body
  • No balance between giving and receiving in relationships 
  • Poor self-esteem
  • Poor creativity and intuition 
  • Nutritional deficiency 
  • Low energy

How to do womb healing?

Womb healing is not a new practice. It has been in practice since ancient times. The following steps include everything I did to heal my womb.

Womb relationship 

It is shocking how we live our life without acknowledging this sacred part of our body. Before performing womb healing, we must build a relationship with our womb. 

To build a relationship with your womb: 

  • Clean your surroundings.
  • Put your yoga mat on the ground and lie down on it. Be as close as possible to mother earth for this practice.
  • Relax your body and close your eyes.
  • Put your hand below your belly button and connect with your breath.

Say the following words to your womb-

I am sorry for not acknowledging you. Please forgive me for neglecting you, for not taking care of you. 

I love you. 

I am here for you. 

What is it that you want me to do for you? 

Talk to me; I am listening. 

  • Listen to your womb; feel its waves. Take your time to feel the connection. Do this practice for at least 10-15 minutes.
  • Feel the sensations in your womb. Do you feel pain anywhere? Is there any uneasy feeling? What is your womb trying to convey to you? 
  • Notice everything. Do not think that this is not for you if you do not feel anything during this process. Repeat this.
  • The more you open up, the more it will become easier for you to understand the language of your womb.

Womb journal

  • Make a womb journal. 
  • Just after you finish the first exercise, write everything in your womb journal. 
  • Refrain from judging yourself. It is okay to write nonsensical things. You do not have to think before writing. 
  • Write whatever comes to your mind during your practice. 
  • Once you finish writing, read everything with an open mind. Look for the pattern; that is what you need to heal.

Example:

I feel pain in my womb. 

Why does nobody love me? 

Why did I choose to be with him?

What is wrong with me? 

You will notice relationship issues, the feeling of not being enough, guilt, lack of love, low self-esteem, etc. Get to know the hidden meanings and feelings behind all this.

Womb healing meditation 

  • Once you know what to heal, it is time to clear this energy from your womb. 
  • For the womb healing meditation, ensure that your room is clean, quiet, and dark. 
  • Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. You can open your clothes during this practice to feel connected with your body.
  • Put your left hand on your heart and your right hand below your belly button. Breathe deeply. Feel the air going inside your womb. Slowly, breathe out with a sigh. Repeat this at least five times. Then, ask your feminine ancestors, goddesses, angels and the five elements (earth, water, air, fire, sky) to assist you in this.
  • Feel their presence- their blessings in the form of light coming to you. 
  • Let the beautiful light flow from your crown chakra to your root chakra. 
  • Let it collect all the toxicity, negativity, disease and any stuck up energy from your cells into your womb in a ball-like form. 

Then, acknowledge the mother earth and say this-

I release _________________ (Whatever you want to release- it can be anything, name of a particular person, any feeling, disease,etc.). I release the stuck up energy and any bonds that are holding me back to mother earth and allow her to transform this energy into pure love. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Clench your pelvis, stomach and your entire body. Then, release. Let it all go to mother earth. Notice how your body and your womb feels in the moment. 

Then, thank all the higher entities for assisting you in your womb clearing. Open your eyes.

Releasing exercises- 

After meditation, get up slowly and do the following exercises for releasing stuck up energy-

Fill your womb

  • After exercises, fill a glass with water. 
  • Bless the water inside the glass.

    You can say- 

Thank you for loving my body.

I bless you. 

I am loved.

My body is a gift, and i treat it with kindness.

I feel enough. 

Being a woman is a greatest gift.

I am healthy.

  • After blessing the water and speaking affirmations to it, keep your left hand on your womb. 
  • From your right hand, drink the water slowly. 
  • Feel the holy water and blessings filling in your womb. 
  • You can also charge your water with crystals.

Womb Healing Dance

  • Dance and spirituality are often linked together.
  • For womb healing dance, set an intention of what you want to release through your dance.
  • After setting an intention, dance for at least 15 minutes and release whatever you want to.
  • Your dance moves do not have to be perfect. Here, you are dancing for yourself and nobody else.
  • No matter how crazy you look, listen to your body and move accordingly.

Womb healing Food

  • Acknowledge your womb before eating anything.
  • Be present with your food.
  • Feel it providing love, nutrition and nourishment to your womb and your body.
  • Green vegetables, lemon, whole grains, nuts, seasonal fruits are some of the best foods to include in your diet.
  • Fenugreek tea with ginger and marigold tea is beneficial for cleaning the womb.

Womb healing crystals 

  • This step takes 5 to 10 minutes. It can be done as womb charging meditation or after womb healing meditation.
  • Take one or a combination of the crystals mentioned below.
  • Put the crystals on your womb.
  • Now feel the vibration of the crystals penetrating inside your womb and filling it up with their energy.

You can include the following crystals-

  1. Carnelian: It restores vitality, motivation and creativity.
  2. Citrine: Citrine is known for making the flow of energy more vibrant inside and outside the body. It is also known for increasing self-esteem and providing emotional strength.
  3. Moonstone: This gem is beneficial for intuition, wish fulfilment, balance and femininity.
  4. Rose quartz: Rose quartz is known for its healing benefits and for promoting self-love.
  5. Selenite: Ancient energy healers used selenite to clear any energy blockage.
  6. Tiger eye: It releases fear, stress, anxiety and brings overall balance.

Womb clearing bath

For preparing womb cleansing bath-

  • Start by cleaning everything in your bathroom first.
  • After cleaning, use sage to clear the energy of your bathroom.
  • Put some crystals in your bathtub.
  • In the water, add Epsom salt, dried lavender and chamomile flower petals, fresh rose, marigold and any essential oil of your choice.
  • Light a few candles and play relaxing music.
  • When you are inside the tub, feel the cleansing effect of water on your whole body and womb.
  • You can even do meditation during bath.

Massage oil

To prepare womb massage oil-

  • Take organic coconut oil.
  • Add few drops of these essential oils to it like, clary sage, neroli, rose, frankincense and lavender.
  • Then, massage this oil for a minute in clockwise direction on your womb after getting out of the bath. 
  • Do not use this during pregnancy.

Womb healing ritual:

It is not very practical to do all these steps once or twice a week. For that, this quick 23-minute womb healing ritual does the work:

  • Womb healing meditation- 10 minutes 
  • Womb charging with crystals- 5 minutes
  • Exercises to release stored energy- 5 minutes 
  • Fill your womb with blessed water- 2 minutes 
  • Womb massage with oil after the shower- 1 minute

Womb healing is not something to be done once in a lifetime. It should be a lifelong process. The way everything else requires cleansing, your womb also needs it. For me, it was such a magical experience. I now feel happy and loved. I am in connection with my divine self.

Every woman should do it since we all are so disconnected from our femininity but, it is even more necessary to do womb healing-

  • Post miscarriage
  • Post childbirth (when your body has healed)
  • After the loss of a person or relationship or any other loss
  • When you are healing childhood wounds
  • If you are facing any health issues or fertility issues
  • After going through abuse or rape
